Job Description
Company Overview
The company started as a roadside Chendul stall in Penang in the year 1936 and has now grown to own more than 20 retail outlets all over Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate Annual Finance Audit Process
- Develop financial strategies and budgets aligned with company goals
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management
- Manage and monitor company budgets/cash flow to optimize resource use for operation
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations
- Lead and mentor the finance team for a collaborative work environment
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
- Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectation throughout
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management/Head of Department
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in relevant position
- Candidates with accounting background is a must
- Candidates in Food and Beverage background is an added advantage
- Committed, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity
- Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Seksyen U8, Shah Alam, Selangor
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm
