Job Description

Company Overview

The company started as a roadside Chendul stall in Penang in the year 1936 and has now grown to own more than 20 retail outlets all over Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and facilitate Annual Finance Audit Process
  • Develop financial strategies and budgets aligned with company goals
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for senior management
  • Manage and monitor company budgets/cash flow to optimize resource use for operation
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations
  • Lead and mentor the finance team for a collaborative work environment
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions
  • Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectation throughout
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management/Head of Department

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance / Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in relevant position
  • Candidates with accounting background is a must
  • Candidates in Food and Beverage background is an added advantage
  • Committed, analytical, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player with high degree of honesty and integrity
  • Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (added advantage)
  • Willing to work in Seksyen U8, Shah Alam, Selangor
  • Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM10,00.00 – RM15,00.00 per month
