Job Description
Finance & HR Payroll
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, cash flow reports, and management reports; analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets, monitoring performance against them, and creating financial forecasts.
- Cash & Working Capital Management: Oversee daily cash positions, manage bank activities, and optimize working capital.
- Compliance & Control: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, implement internal controls, and manage tax compliance.
- Accounting Operations: Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with internal teams, external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Payroll Processing: End-to-end management, from data collection (attendance, bonuses, deductions) to salary calculation and disbursement
- Compliance & Statutory Submission : Ensuring adherence to local labour laws, tax laws, and submitting filings (EPF, SOCSO, CPF, Tax)
- Record Keeping : Maintaining accurate employee payroll records and data.
- Reporting: Generating monthly and ad-hoc payroll reports for management and relevant authorities.
- Query Resolution : Addressing and resolving employee questions about pay, deductions, and benefits, preparing annual tax returns (e.g., Form E) and assisting with audits.
- System Management: Updating and maintaining payroll software and ensuring data accuracy.
Requirements – Finance & HR Payroll
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and payroll (SME experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, CPF, PCB/Tax, Form E)
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles, AP/AR, cash flow, and month-end closing
- Familiar with local labour laws and financial compliance requirements
- Proficient in Excel and accounting/payroll systems
- Detail-oriented, well-organised, and able to handle confidential information
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, auditors, and authorities
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,500.00 – RM5,00.00 per month
