Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Executive (Material Purchasing) in our company. As an Executive (Material Purchasing), you will be responsible for ensuring the timely procurement and delivery of materials to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production team to determine material requirements
- Source and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing
- Create and maintain purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimize stock levels
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers or internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in material purchasing or procurement
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other procurement software
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
