Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- To maximize conference and banqueting revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and pricing strategy
- Respond to sales inquiries promptly from potential clients seeking meeting space, annual dinner, conference, ceremony, food and beverage services
- Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
- Analyze business markets, design sales strategy, and set goals for execution
- Oversee daily operations and activities of the sales and event department
- Manage event costing including part-time recruitments, maintenance equipment, meeting amenities, and daily premises expenses
- Evaluate and enhance sales and financial performance
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel Management, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field
- Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia & English
- Excellent convincing, communication, sales, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player with minimal supervision
