Job Description
- To install, repair, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance on all electrical and electronic systems and factory machinery.
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and conduct tests to ensure that repairs are satisfactory.
- Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment, adjust, and calibrate as needed.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain housekeeping.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- To provide technical support/breakdown work in the production area.
- Machine daily checklist checking, conduct preventive maintenance activities, troubleshoot and repair the machine during downtime, complete the daily tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Upkeep of spare parts and maintenance room area.
- To manage the usage and movement control of spare parts.
- Liaise with purchasing regarding the purchase of spare parts.
- To complete the maintenance report after repairing.
- Ensure good functionality of equipment/mechanical components e.g. jigs, tools, etc.
- Respond to breakdown and emergency maintenance tasks, some of which may require action outside normal working hours.
- Ad hoc duties as required to assist the team and responsibilities as given by the superior.
