Job Description
Ensure that entries are cleared in accordance with Customs compliance agreements
Ensure that correct lodgement declarations are made on behalf of customers, whilst satisfying the legislation set by customs, VAT laws, and other regulatory agencies
Liaise with customs officials on specific duties payable and problem shipments
Maintain and ensure thorough knowledge of Customs practices and procedures
Resolve specific disputes or provide advice on technical issues with internal customers
Determine the shipment value in accordance with the local valuation guidelines provided by the local authorities
