Job Scope:

• Anticipate dentist’s needs to be prepared for next steps.
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Maintain proper patient records.
• Give pre & post-op instructions – within the limits designated by the dentist.
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to the patient.
• Turn on all units, switches and water before the patient sits down.
• Stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, and lab as needed.
• Inform supervisor when supplies need to be re-ordered.
• Inform supervisor of broken or malfunctioning equipment.
• Perform all duties of sterilizer when deemed necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of the clinic.
• Other duties as may arise from time to time, and as may be assigned to the employee.
