Job Description
Responsibilities and Powers:
- a) Stay updated on international customs regulations and ensure compliance with import and export laws.
- b) Prepare and submit customs documents, including import and export customs declaration forms and clearance documents.
- c) Supervise the daily operations of the department.
- d) Maintain records of customs documents.
- e) Resolve any issues related to customs clearance.
- f) Manage subordinates (rosters, manpower planning, etc.).
- g) Undertake other special assignments, ad hoc responsibilities, and related duties as required by superiors.
Qualifications and Experience:
- a) Candidates must possess at least a diploma or equivalent in any field.
- b) Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a similar position or industry.
- c) Familiarity with customs documents and procedures.
- d) Good judgment and solution-driven mindset.
- e) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- f) Proactive, strong managerial skills, and team player.
- g) Able to support rotating shifts on weekends or public holidays as required.
