Job Description
- As a cost controller, your job duties include verifying costs with vendors and suppliers, estimating expenditures, and recommending cost-saving measures to upper management.
- Maintain internal safeguards for revenue, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
- Study, analyze and report on all variances relating to costs and inventory management within the hotel administration.
- To prepare monthly reports, monthly forecasts and annual budgets correlated to Projects, Monitor costs and control costs, financial progress, estimate to complete.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
- Determine overall project cost which includes project management, material supply, fabrication, installation, etc. and monitor project expenditure against budget cost.
- Liaise with Contractor on all contractual and commercial matters.
- Check and verify all remeasurements, rates and prices for all change order submitted by the Contractor.
- Prepare and publish monthly job cost summary reports as required by the project / finance department to give good visibility on all commercial aspects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in executive level.
- Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, good communicator and independent with high initiative.

Salary: RM2,500.00 – RM4,00.00 per month
