Position: Content Creator Cum Video Editor

Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,00

Working Days: Wednesday – Monday (Tuesday Off)

Working Hours:

• 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Shift Rotation)

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and hands-on Content Creator Cum Video Editor to produce engaging visual content for a restaurant brand.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning content ideas, shooting and editing videos, managing social media visuals, and supporting marketing campaigns and promotions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys food content creation, understands social media trends, and is passionate about storytelling through video.

Key Responsibilities

1) Plan and create content ideas aligned with the restaurant’s branding, promotions, and marketing campaigns

2) Shoot and edit high-quality videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other digital channels

3) Edit videos including cutting, transitions, subtitles, basic motion graphics, and sound syncing

4) Capture food, beverage, and ambience visuals using mobile phone or camera

5) Design simple visual content such as posters, reel covers, and thumbnails when required

6) Schedule and upload content according to the content calendar

7) Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support ongoing promotions and events

8) Monitor content performance (views, engagement, reach) and suggest improvements

9) Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and maintains consistent visual quality and style

Requirements

1) Basic to intermediate skills in video shooting and video editing

2) Familiar with editing tools

3) Comfortable using mobile phone or camera for content shooting

4) Good understanding of social media platforms and content trends

5) Creative mindset with good attention to visual quality and storytelling
