Job Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Commis 1 or Commis 2. As a Commis, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations, assisting our senior chefs in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and gathering spices.
- Assist in cooking and plating various dishes, ensuring they are presented in an appealing manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Learn and follow the recipes and techniques provided by our senior chefs.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Commis or relevant position in a professional kitchen.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
