Job Description
A Coffee Specialist (Retail) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expertise in all aspects related to coffee. This role involves assisting customers in choosing the perfect coffee products and accessories, providing detailed information about different coffee blends, and ensuring a delightful experience for coffee enthusiasts.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers in selecting coffee products based on their preferences and needs
- Providing recommendations on brewing methods and equipment
- Explaining the characteristics, flavors, and origins of various coffee blends
- Preparing and serving coffee samples to customers
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the retail area
- Processing transactions and handling cash registers
- Staying up-to-date with the latest coffee trends and industry knowledge
The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee, excellent communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Basic knowledge of different brewing methods and coffee blends is preferred.
