Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at a vibrant Japanese Cafe. The ideal candidate should have a passion for Japanese cuisine and possess extensive knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality and authentic Japanese dishes in a timely manner
- Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently
- Create new menus and innovative dishes while maintaining the essence of Japanese cuisine
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and overall success of the cafe
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Chef specializing in Japanese cuisine
- In-depth knowledge of sushi, sashimi, tempura, and other Japanese cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Certification or degree in culinary arts would be an advantage
