Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Category Executive to join our merchandising team, specifically focusing on the Fresh category. As a Category Executive, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance and strategic direction of the Fresh category, including fruits, vegetables, dairy, and meat products.
Your main responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, conducting competitor research, and developing strategies to improve category performance. You will also be in charge of assortment planning, pricing, and promotions to ensure optimal sales and profitability.
To excel in this position, you should have a strong background in merchandising and a deep understanding of the Fresh category. You must be analytical, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills. Previous experience in a similar role within the retail industry is highly desirable.
