Job Description
The position is responsible for developing strategic procurement plans for specified departments/categories. The buyer will identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on contract principles to ensure smooth procurement operations, achieving strategic and financial goals.
Purchasing Budget and Planning:
- Determine procurement needs and develop procurement strategies and budgets for specified departments/categories.
- Align procurement plans with overall department/category business plans and product strategies.
- Seek cost reduction measures through centralized bulk purchasing and supplier combinations.
