Job Description
A building technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems in a building, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. They perform regular inspections, diagnose equipment issues, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements. Building technicians also handle preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and complying with safety standards. In addition, they may assist in routine facility maintenance, such as painting, cleaning, and landscaping. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of building codes and regulations are essential for this role.
