Job Description
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam boilers and thermal oil heaters. Duties include steam distribution, boiler auxiliaries, energy monitoring, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure steam boilers and thermal oil heaters are operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain optimum operating conditions for boilers and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.
- Update meter reading log sheets.
- Conduct chemical analysis of boiler water and take corrective action if needed.
- Comply with Health and Safety procedures as required.
- Coordinate boiler overhaul tasks and inspections with government authorities.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by Manager/Engineer.
