Job Description
1 unit 5 tonne and 1 unit 10 tonne fire tube boiler.
Working 6 days a week (Sunday off).
- Prepare chemicals for boilers, cooling towers, monitoring nitrogen consumption, potable tank level, air compressors, and take utility readings.
- Ensure safe operation of steam boilers and comply with Factory and Machinery Act 1967, OSHA 94, and Boiler Enactment Act 1892.
- Schedule and implement preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected boiler downtime.
- Maintain proper inventory control system for boiler chemicals.
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and clean working area in the Boiler House.
- Monitor reserve water tank and ensure sufficient water supply during disruptions.
- Monitor steam thread and piping for safe operation.
- Record all breakdowns and downtime.
- Attend and follow up on boiler inspections with JKKP/DOSH.
- Update daily communication or log book on tasks and activities performed.
- Assist with facilities, premises, and production steam supplies.
- Support the Safety and Facilities Officer in daily tasks.
- Supervise cleaners and foreign workers’ issues (hostel, overtime, etc.).
- Participate in Emergency Response Team and Safety and Health Activities.
- Execute assigned responsibilities from superiors.
- Any misconduct with regards to Boiler Regulations will be taken seriously.

Salary: RM1,800.00 – RM2,300.00 per month
