A BIM Modeller is responsible for creating and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) using specialized software. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop precise and accurate 3D models of construction projects.

The BIM Modeller’s main tasks include generating and managing 2D and 3D models, coordinating and integrating various design disciplines, and producing construction documentation. They also play a crucial role in clash detection and ensuring that the models adhere to industry standards and project requirements.

To excel in this role, a BIM Modeller should have excellent technical skills, proficiency in BIM software (such as Revit, AutoCAD, or ArchiCAD), and a strong understanding of construction principles and drawings. They should also possess good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
