Job Description
This role reports to the Pastry Chef / Chief Baker
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company and kitchen SOP and policies;
- Ensure the quality of products is upheld at all times through the production process;
- Complete the production work in a timely manner;
- Assist the production chef in the production process;
- Maintain high standards of workplace cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness;
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene;
- Assist in any tasks assigned by a superior.
Requirements:
- Passion for baking;
- Knowledgeable in practicing halal-related SOP in F&B industry;
- Knowledge of bakery techniques, bakery food items, bakery food preparation, presentation and preservation, and bakery equipment;
- Ensure excellent kitchen cleanliness and hygiene;
- Good communication & organization skills;
- Follow standards and instructions from direct supervisor.
