Job Description
An Assistant Manager Warehouse is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the operations and ensuring efficient management of the warehouse. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of stock.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervising warehouse staff and providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensuring proper organization and storage of goods to maximize efficiency
- Collaborating with other departments to plan and execute inventory control strategies
- Implementing safety protocols and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Conducting regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
