Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager Finance. The Assistant Manager Finance will be responsible for managing daily operations of the finance and accounting department, reviewing and analyzing financial reports, monitoring the company’s budget, assisting in audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for full set of accounting processes and tasks (i.e. AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) for a few entities.
• Perform daily accounting routine functions.
• Support cash flow management, intercompany transactions, and settlement.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in all tax and regulatory filing, audits, and company secretarial matters.
• Coordinate with internal and external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required.
• Work together with other teams to continuously improve the quality of financial reporting and automate internal operational processes;

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting theory, financial statement analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience in managing finance, accounting, and budgeting functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: RM6,00.00 – RM7,00.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• 13th month salary
