Job Description

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Generate and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budgetary performance and provide insights into any variances.

General Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage payment schedules.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors during financial audits.

Financial Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
  • Implement and streamline accounting procedures for increased efficiency.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff.

Technology Utilization:

  • Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in finance.

Ad hoc Projects:

  • Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by senior management.
