Job Description
We’re looking for an AML Investigations Analyst to join MyValiant. As part of the Financial Crime Intelligence and Investigations (FCII) Team, you will be responsible for executing AML Transaction Monitoring and Investigations processes.
In this role, you will perform risk-based investigations on AML cases generated by the monitoring system. You will also send outbound requests for information and escalate cases to the Singapore team when potential money laundering/terrorism financing concerns are identified. It is important to ensure cases are closed or escalated within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA). Additionally, you should proactively escalate any issues identified during work.
Requirements:
- Preferably Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline. Diploma with relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in AML/CFT roles in a Regulated Financial Institution.
- Basic knowledge of MAS 626 regulations.
- Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems.
- Ability to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Good to have:
- Additional expertise in AML functions such as Sanctions, Name & Payment Screening, Customer Due Diligence, and Fraud Investigation.
Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Salary: RM2,500.00 – RM3,00.00 per month
