Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all aspects of GL & RL accounts and transactions, such as invoices, ledgers, delivery orders, debit notes, and daily transaction monitoring.
  2. Close financial accounts on a monthly basis or within designated time periods, e.g., quarterly, semi-annually, etc.
  3. Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
  4. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including key ratios, balance sheets, income statements, profit and loss (P&L) statements, cash flow statements, and other reports (full set of accounts).
  5. Maintain cash inflow and outflow records (debit or credit) and perform suitable financial calculations and analysis for the company.
  6. Maintain accounting control by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
  7. Calculate operating and production costs.
  8. Manage account files and documentation (P&C filing).
  9. Assist auditors with audit-related matters and provide necessary documents for auditing.
  10. Prepare salary lists and records related to staff and employee salaries for the company.
  11. Create, cash, and issue checks and receipts.
  12. Open new bank accounts and update existing accounts (liaising with the bank).
  13. Prepare company tax statements and respond to tax-related inquiries.
  14. Utilize and input data into the company’s accounting system.
  15. Record all company assets.
  16. Process monthly company expenses such as water and electricity bills, internet bills, EPF (Employees Provident Fund) payments, SOCSO (Social Security Organization) payments, payments to vendors, and hospital and clinic panels, among others.
  17. Implement and supervise systems and operations related to salary payment accounts, revenue collection, revenue receipts, revenue classification, petty cash maintenance, deposit registers, trusts, and annual report preparation.
  18. Carry out other duties as directed by the employer from time to time.
