Job Description
An Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of an organization, specifically focusing on the accounts receivable function. They play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collecting payments from customers, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Key responsibilities of an Account Receivable Specialist include:
– Generating invoices and accurately entering data into the accounting system.
– Monitoring customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
– Resolving any billing disputes or discrepancies.
– Communicating with customers to ensure payments are received and properly recorded.
– Reconciling accounts receivable balances and resolving any issues or inconsistencies.
– Producing financial reports related to accounts receivable.
Skills and qualifications required:
– Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
– Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
– Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
