Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

Ensure daily operational expenses were recorded in compliance with established policies and procedures, ensure payments were made to suppliers on a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily activities:
  • Process invoice/petty cash/staff claims thru various financial digital platforms, ensure accuracy and completeness of information processed

Review SOA on a timely manner and communicate outstanding invoices with respective users

Process and maintain the records for asset and liabilities ie. payables, receivables, accruals & prepayments

Work closely with internal stakeholders, escalate to manager on a timely manner on any operational issue

Extract information as requested, involve in ad-hoc projects as assigned by the management.

Involvement in other duties as assigned when required

Monthly closing activities:

  • Obtain accruals information from respective department
  • Perform computation and analysis appropriately during closing journals preparation
  • Prepare month end accruals journals ensuring completeness and accuracy of information recording
  • Prepare and complete the month end closing task assigned based on communicated timeline
  • Report to manager on closing matters
  • Statutory filing and requirements:
  • Involve in data extraction for audit & tax filing requirements
  • Process statutory payments on a timely manner

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year experience in similar role

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 5 months

Salary: RM1,800.00 – RM2,200.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)
