Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage & monitor the accounts receivable/payables, includes preparation of related reporting
- Ensure transactions are processed and properly recorded
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Process and record monthly invoices
- Prepare monthly payments
- Maintain proper accounting record and filing
- Follow-up status for long-overdue debts to ensure all debts are being highlighted to the business team and vital action taken for recovery
- Follow up overdue payments via phone, letters and email.
- Work closely with the purchase team on collection updates and overdue accounts
- Resolve customer & suppliers enquiries and issues with regards to payments
- Perform relevant ad hoc tasks as given from time to time, includes accounting administrative tasks & reporting
