Job Description
An AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems. They work with various types of cooling equipment, such as central air conditioning, window units, and split systems. Additionally, they may handle refrigeration systems, including walk-in freezers and coolers.
The role requires a strong understanding of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) principles, electrical systems, and related components. AC Technicians should have excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. They also need to be familiar with safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure compliance.
As an AC Technician, you will perform tasks such as inspecting and cleaning air filters, adjusting system controls, replacing defective parts, and conducting preventive maintenance. You will work in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial spaces.
