Job Description
A Credit Controller is responsible for managing financial transactions related to credit within an organization. They play a crucial role in ensuring the company’s cash flow by monitoring and collecting outstanding debts from customers.
The main responsibilities of a Credit Controller include:
- Assessing credit applications and conducting credit checks on new customers.
- Setting credit limits and terms of payment.
- Chasing overdue payments and negotiating repayment plans.
- Resolving customer queries and disputes related to invoicing and payments.
- Collaborating with internal departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure efficient credit control procedures.
