Job Description
We are currently looking for a Project and R&D Manager for Randstad, a leading provider in the Stationery manufacturing industry with a legacy of more than 30 years in Malaysia. This position requires your urgent attention.
- Reporting to: Head of Project
- Location: Selangor

The Role:
- Fully accountable for Technical Development operations encompassing erasers and writing instruments.
- Plan and execute improvement projects in collaboration with other departments to achieve cost reduction and/or quality enhancement.
- Authorize and control all formulations, circulating them to relevant departments.
- Provide technical support and conduct troubleshooting for product deviations, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Authorize product specifications and material safety data sheets for external parties as required.
- Contribute to the company’s Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
- Prepare, implement, and control the budget.
- Lead Plant’s Health & Safety Programs, ensuring compliance with local and corporate health and safety requirements.
The Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or any relevant field.
- At least 7 years of experience in R&D with at least 3 years of managerial level experience.
