Job Description
A Key Accounts Manager in the retail industry is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, such as top retailers. This role requires exceptional sales and negotiation skills to meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives
- Identifying and targeting potential retail clients, as well as maintaining existing client relationships
- Negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure products are delivered on time and meet client requirements
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. A degree in business or a related field is preferred, along with a proven track record in key account management within the retail industry.
