Job Description
A physiotherapy assistant plays a crucial role in providing support to physiotherapists in the treatment and rehabilitation process of patients. As a physiotherapy assistant, you will work closely with the physiotherapist to implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and assist in the delivery of therapy sessions.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining treatment areas, preparing equipment, and ensuring patient safety during therapy sessions. You will also document patient responses and progress, as well as provide feedback to the physiotherapist to support the development of individualized treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working directly with patients to help them optimize their physical well-being. Familiarity with therapeutic exercises and various treatment modalities is preferred, along with a genuine passion for promoting the health and well-being of others.
