Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Commis 1 to join our team. As a Commis 1, you will be responsible for assisting our chefs in food preparation, ensuring the highest level of quality and consistency.
In this role, you will be expected to have a solid understanding of culinary techniques, as well as knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment. You will assist in the preparation of ingredients, taking measurements, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food items.
As a Commis 1, you will work closely with our culinary team to execute dishes according to our recipes and standards. You should be capable of working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail and displaying excellent time management skills.
Key requirements for this position include excellent communication skills, the ability to work well within a team, and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not required.
