Job Description
STARS International School is an academically driven institution with years of an outstanding record of high performance. We are looking for qualified and driven individuals with experience as a Malay Language Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team.
Job Qualifications:
- Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree with a teaching qualification/PGCE/Diploma in Education or its equivalent.
- Minimum one year’s experience as a Malay Teacher.
- Ability to teach more than one of the stated subjects is an added advantage.
- Applicant should be an energetic, creative and progressive-minded teaching professional with a strong drive to achieve excellence.
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills with fluency in written and spoken Malay and English is essential.
Job Description:
- Prepare class learning materials, lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Conduct level assessments for new students.
- Keep and submit students’ progress and attendance reports.
- Prepare and conduct assignments, quizzes, assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Mark and assess students’ assignments, tests and examination scripts.
- Do relief teaching when necessary.
- Participate in special school events.
