Job Description
We are expanding our team and seeking dedicated, motivated, and creative designers to join us at Olympia Diary (M) Sdn Bhd.
You will work closely with our designers and sales team on various projects, including diary, calendars, product packaging, web-banners, corporate premiums, festive packets, and more.
We are looking for individuals with up-to-date design knowledge who can interpret our client’s needs and provide design solutions with a high visual impact. If you are passionate about design, we encourage you to send us your resume.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing visual communications
- Conceptualizing designs that are aesthetically impressive and meet our clients’ requirements and objectives
- Completing any ad hoc duties assigned
Job Requirements:
- A design-based diploma or higher qualification
- In-depth knowledge of the paper printing industry, post-press finishing processes (e.g., die-cutting, hot-stamping)
- Specialization (design and knowledge) in at least one of the following areas (please state in your resume):
- Festive products (Angpao, greetings cards, etc.)
- Packaging (paper, PU, PVC, fabric, etc.)
- Food packaging
- Mooncake boxes/packaging
- Pouches, carriers, bags
- Calendars, Diary books, and planners
- Gift boxes and wrappers
- Other paper products and packaging
- Must possess good design speed/productivity and enjoy working under deadlines
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign software
- Creative thinker with an excellent design sense, capable of working well both in a team and independently
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Bilingual, able to converse in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates
