Job Description

We are currently hiring a Quality Technician for a 6-month contract to support our quality assurance initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the Return Material Authorization (RFA) plan provided by the Customer Advocate, located in our SEMV plant, to handle returned products from Sale/DC/FO/Customer on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Visual Inspection:
   • Conduct thorough visual inspections for external damages on returned products.
   • Verify and document production codes to ensure traceability.
2. Function Check:
   • Perform ON/OFF checks and continuity checks to ensure product functionality.
   • Report any issues identified during the functional checks.
3. Assembly Check:
   • Disassemble products to inspect individual components for deviations, burns, damages, or disconnections.
   • Document findings and report any discrepancies.
4. Basic Measurement:
   • Utilize calipers, gauges, and conduct force checks for basic measurements.
   • Ensure that products meet specified dimensional and performance criteria.
5. Collaboration and Guidance:
   • Receive weekly guidance from Customer Advocate engineers and product engineers for more in-depth inspections.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and rectify quality concerns.
6. Reporting:
   • Generate comprehensive reports detailing inspection results, deviations, and any corrective actions taken.
   • Maintain accurate records of inspections and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in basic measurement tools and techniques.
