Job Description
M&E Technicians are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, as well as electrical and wiring works.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of air conditioning systems.
- Accountable for the execution and control of all assigned M&E projects.
- Carry out routine maintenance as scheduled.
- Handle emergency repairs effectively and efficiently.
- Assist supervisors in M&E tasks and maintenance work.
- Ensure proper organization and functioning of technical equipment.
- Assist in site visits and transportation of workers.
- Perform other assigned tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Preferably 2-3 years of working experience in related fields. Junior applicants with a keen interest in wiring and air conditioning installation and repair for internal works are also encouraged to apply.
- Possession of PW4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga will be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of service, inspection, and installation of air conditioning systems.
- Willingness to work long hours.
- Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams and troubleshooting electrical issues is an additional advantage.
- Result-oriented and willing to work according to site requirements.
- Own transportation (preferably motorcycle).
- Willingness to be stationed outside of the Klang Valley area (project locations may vary).
