Job Description

WANZAR GROUP SDN BHD is a company specializing in Modern Clothing. The company’s business encompasses all kinds of Modern Fashion that suits any occasion attended like casual, formal, official functions and so on.

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-driven Junior Textile Designer to develop original fabric patterns and prints for our ready-to-wear collections. This role demands a strong sense of color, texture, and trend awareness, as well as technical knowledge of textile printing processes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Creative Director and production team to transform design concepts into high-quality textiles that reflect the brand’s identity and meet production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Textile Concept & Development

• Design original prints, patterns, textures, and fabric concepts aligned with each season’s creative direction and fashion collections.
• Create digital sketches, print layouts, and mock-ups for presentations and internal reviews.
• Develop sample, including digital and physical renditions for approval.

2. Trend Research & Design Innovation

• Conduct in-depth trend research through fashion forecasting platforms, industry publications, and international runway references.
• Explore innovative textile techniques, color stories, and material applications to enhance design relevance and uniqueness.
• Suggest experimental print placements, surface effects, and finishing techniques.

3. Production & Technical Coordination

• Operate and/or coordinate textile printing (digital or traditional) and fabrication with external vendors or suppliers.
• Ensure all designs meet production feasibility, technical specifications, and color accuracy requirements.
• Collaborate with the Production Team to oversee fabric sampling and bulk quality control.

4. Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Fashion Designers and the Creative Director to ensure textile designs align with garment construction and final silhouette.
• Provide fabric recommendations and consult on how prints will interact with cuts, seams, and embellishments.

5. Documentation & Project Management

• Maintain a well-organized archive of all print artworks, repeat patterns, sample, and development notes.
• Track multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to seasonal deadlines and launch calendars.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply
• Strong interest and passion for fashion and textile trends.
• Excellent stress management and time management skills, especially during peak production seasons.
• Highly disciplined, responsible, and self-motivated with a positive work attitude.
• Capable of working independently and under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya. (10-mins by walking to Putra Heights LRT Station).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,900.00 – RM2,400.00 per month
