Job Description
The BO Chargeman operates and maintains boiler and auxiliary systems, ensuring safe and efficient steam generation for plant operations. Responsibilities include startup and shutdown procedures, monitoring gauges and alarms, routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, fuel handling, and accurate logbook and safety record keeping. Candidates should hold a vocational diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), a certified boiler/chargeman license, and at least 2 years’ experience with industrial boilers. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, ability to work shifts, and good teamwork and communication skills are required. Familiarity with instrumentation and preventive maintenance is preferred.
