Job Description:
- To be involved in supplier management, including sourcing, selection, negotiation, and obtaining quotations for project materials and equipment.
- Negotiate best pricing, monitor and ensure continuous improvement of supplier performance.
- Maintain records of purchases, quotations, supplier information, and liaise with suppliers and departments for timely supply delivery.
- Interact with project teams on equipment costs and progress management.
- Observe material orders to prevent over-supplying at project sites.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a construction company.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be a team player.
- Proficient in MS Office – especially Excel and Word, and accounting software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
