Job Description
Report duty to Housekeeper or Assistant Housekeeper in the absence of the Housekeeper
Cooperation and teamwork with the Assistant Housekeeper and other Supervisor to organize and scheduling of all jobs in the department with maximum efficiency
Prepare Housekeeping Attendant’s job assignments
Perform routine inspections of all rooms assigned by the Assistant Housekeeper or Housekeeper.
Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues
Inspect service areas routinely, pantry and corridors
Schedule and supervise deep cleaning and any other projects
Manage and train other team members to ensure their performance is to the standards required
Take note of VIP’s, Do not Disturb, Sleep Out, Double-Lock Rooms and take appropriate action
Assist with Inventory and ensure that all housekeeping machine and equipment are properly handled and maintained
Ensure that all chemicals used are properly labeled and stored
Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationship
He / She must have at least 3 years working experience in Hotel Housekeeping Department and 1 year in a Supervisor role.
