Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Handle and update daily transactions – banking, forex, and petty cash
- Manage monthly and yearly bank reconciliation and settlements (10th of each month)
- Open and close bank accounts, amend authorizers, etc.
- Check and post daily non-trade payable transactions (invoices and payments)
- Monitor all payments to meet due dates (CP204, payroll-related)
- Check and post monthly transactions from RPT (debit advices from RPT)
- Check and post daily non-trade accounts receivable transactions (collections from others)
- Update and record fixed asset purchases, write-offs, disposals, and depreciation
- Prepare monthly and yearly fixed asset reports (10th month/yearly)
- Conduct annual fixed asset physical count (December/January)
- Update and issue monthly recurring general journals (BF 10/month)
- Reconcile interco and outlook recoveries (DN) (10th month/monthly)
- Coordinate with auditors, responsible for tasks as instructed by the manager
Experience/Skills:
- Candidates must possess LCCI/Diploma/Accounting degree.
- Minimum of 2-3 years working experience.
- Prior audit/manufacturing/construction company experience preferred.
- Strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Ms Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to collaborate within a team with a positive attitude.
- Precise data processing with strong analytical skills.
