Job Description
Responsibilities:
- This position will support the Company’s accounts payable activities.
- Prepare daily bank reconciliation report.
- Maintain proper record and organization of filling system.
- Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration tasks.
- Complete weekly bank reconciliation to ensure no discrepancies in banking.
- Check on petty cash returns from branches and issue reimbursement cheques.
- Check on staff expenses claim and input to staff claim template.
- Perform monthly bank statement reconciliation and resolve discrepancies if any.
- Assist in month-end financial closing and reporting.
- Any other ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the same capacity, preferably in sales and distribution.
- Well-versed in JDE Accounting software would be an advantage.
- Familiar with accounting standards, tax laws, and filing procedures.
- Proficient in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
- Meticulousness and accuracy at work are a must.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
