Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing all tasks related to GL & RL accounts and transactions such as invoices, ledgers, delivery orders, debit notes, and monitoring daily transactions.
- Closing financial accounts on a monthly basis or as per the designated period, for example, quarterly, semi-annually, etc.
- Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports if required.
- Preparing complete financial reports including trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, profit and loss (P&L), cash flow, and other accounting reports (full set account).
- Recording and analyzing incoming and outgoing cash transactions (debit and credit) and providing appropriate financial calculations for the company.
- Maintaining accounting control by establishing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Calculating operating and production costs.
- Managing account files and documentation (P&C filing).
- Assisting auditors in audit-related matters and providing necessary documents for audit purposes.
- Preparing payroll listings and relevant records of staff and employees for the company.
- Creating, cashing, and issuing checks and receipts.
- Opening new bank accounts and updating existing accounts (dealing with the bank).
- Preparing company tax statements and addressing all tax-related queries.
- Using the accounting system of the company and entering data into it.
- Recording all company assets.
- Making monthly payments for company expenses such as water bills, electricity bills, internet bills, EPF, SOCSO, payments to vendors, hospital and clinic panels, and others.
- Implementing and supervising systems and operations related to payroll accounting, revenue collection, revenue receipts, revenue classification, cash book maintenance, deposit registration, trust accounts, and annual report preparation.
- Performing other duties as directed by the employer from time to time.
