Job Description
The Accounting Officer will be responsible for maintaining and managing financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements and reports.
- Recording and maintaining accurate financial data.
- Assisting with budget preparation and monitoring expenses.
- Conducting periodic audits and reconciling accounts.
- Assessing financial risks and suggesting measures to mitigate them.
- Collaborating with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Preparing tax returns and coordinating with external auditors.
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and have proven experience in accounting roles. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for this role.
