Job Description
We are currently hiring a DBA (IT) to join our team at Inteksoft Sdn Bhd. As a DBA (IT), you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization’s database systems. Your role will involve database design, performance tuning, data integrity, and security. Additionally, you will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure our database systems are running efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems
- Monitoring and optimizing database performance
- Ensuring data integrity and security
- Collaborating with IT team members to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
- Implementing backup and recovery strategies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a DBA (IT) or in a similar role
- Proficient in database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
