Job Description
1. Performing tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations
2. Carrying out routine tasks accurately and following strict methodologies to carry out analyses.
3. Preparing specimens and samples.
4. Constructing, maintaining and operating equipment, for example centrifuge, UV-spectrometer, pipette and pH meters.
5. Responsible to troubleshoot by determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
6. Ensuring the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
7. Recording and updating results to present to senior colleagues
8. Keeping up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
9. Ensure all the chemicals and raw part provided is fully utilize by controlling material waste activity and provide justification and action for any abnormality.
10. Ensure the system implemented (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949, OHS 18001) are followed and maintained.
11. Communicate with engineer, supervisors, and operators by providing information through telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
