Job Description
A Credit Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the credit control activities within an organization. They ensure that all credit control procedures and policies are followed accurately and efficiently, in order to minimize risk and maintain a healthy cash flow.
The main duties of a Credit Control Supervisor include:
- Supervising and leading a team of credit controllers
- Evaluating and analyzing credit applications and determining credit limits
- Monitoring outstanding debts and chasing overdue payments
- Implementing credit control strategies and procedures
- Identifying and resolving any credit-related issues
- Reviewing and updating credit policies and terms
- Providing guidance and support to both the team and clients
The ideal candidate for this position should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. They should also possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as they will be required to liaise with both internal stakeholders and customers.
